For me, dairy products can be hard on the digestive system. I am a huge fan of coffee and I enjoy creamer in my coffee but I don't want all the artificial sweeteners and ingredients in it- I like knowing what's in my creamer and that it's good/beneficial for me!
I decided to make my own coffee creamer with all natural sweeteners, flavors and non-dairy! Here's my recipe!
In a blender, add:
1 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond (or coconut) milk
3 tbs organic honey (I buy mine from a local family who has their own bees/hives)
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1 drop of Cassia essential oil (Cassia is from the cinnamon family so it give it a little bit of cinnamon flavoring) You can get your oil here with 25% off!
Once all ingredients are blended, pour into a glass jar (I used a jar from when I had vegetable juice but a mason jar will also work) and keep refrigerated for up to 2 weeks!
